Hello together,
I would like to start and also collect the "Diamond Select Ghostbusters Toy Line". I found this awesome listing here:
https://ghostbusters.fandom.com/wiki/Diamond_Select_Ghostbusters_Toy_Line
Diamond Select Ghostbusters Toy LineGhostbusters Wiki
However, not everything is clear to me here and maybe someone can help me.
Some of the figures come in different designs:
1.1 Basic
1.2 Select
1.3 Marshmallow version
1.4 Best of Wave 1- Basic reissue
How can I distinguish "Basic" from "Select"?
And aren't the versions 1.3 and 1.4 listed again below or are these different figures again?
I am very grateful for your help.
Would it include stories from the films and animated shows "Ghostbusters (1984)", "Ghostbusters II", "The Real Ghostbusters", "Extreme Ghostbusters", "Ghostbusters (2016)", and "Ghostbusters: Afterlife" in the video game published by TT Games and WB Games
Looks like Jason Reitman would find out that Oscar the Master Ghostbuster who is the son of Dana Barrett to mark the return in Ghostbusters 4 to help with 4 New Ghostbusters (Trevor, Phoebe, Lucky, and Podcast) the one who played as young Han Solo in the Star Wars Anthology film "Solo"
For those who don't know, it was revealed not to long ago that a sequel to GB: A was in the works. It will bring new 'chapters' that haven't been explored yet.
I'm hoping for Slimer to appear yet again and some more mentions of GB II, as GB: A has no mentions of that film. Also, a solid confirmation of if or if not GB: TVG is still canon or not would be good. What do you want to see?
Made this up because that's the kinda thing bored nerds do:
Ad Hominem:
Egon: Do not press that lever. It's a bad idea.
Peck: Why would I need to listen to you?! You're just a scrawny, nearsighted geek who collects mushrooms.
Appeal to Novelty:
Ray: We should get this new pair of night vision goggles that's just come out!
Winston: I don't see the point of that when these ones work just fine.
Ray: They're the latest model! They must be the best!
Association Fallacy:
Ray: Did you know that crows are very intelligent?
Peter: Guess Egon's a crow, then!
False Dichotomy:
Peter: Do you want a beer?
Egon: No thank you.
Peter: Guess you don't want anything to drink then.
Gambler's Fallacy:
Janine: Well, we haven't gotten any calls today yet, but it's been six hours, so we're due for one any second.
Golden Mean Fallacy:
Ray: I bet the PKE readings in that house will be high.
Winston: I think they'll probably be very low.
Peter: Guess they'll be somewhere in the middle then.
No True Scotsman:
Peck: Scientists don't believe in ghosts.
Ray: We do.
Peck: Well, true scientists don't believe in ghosts.
Perfect Solution Fallacy:
Egon: We can eliminate all the ghosts in your house, but we cannot repair the damage they've done.
Client: In that case, I won't pay for your services at all.
Post Hoc, Ergo Propter Hoc
Ray: Yay! I'm psychic!
Egon: What led you to that conclusion?
Ray: I was thinking of ants, and then an ant crawled across my desk.
Slippery Slope:
Winston: Don't let Louis Tully in here! If he's allowed in the lobby, then pretty soon, he'll want to be let into the containment area as well, and then he could let the ghosts escape!
Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan will executive produce a new Ghostbusters animated series in development for Netflix. No other details released.
The Real Ghostbusters cartoon was a fun rendition of the well-loved Ghostbusters films, and spawned some fantastically spooky villains. Samhain was one of the spookiest, and easily the most recognizable. His pumpkin head, mysterious cloak, and long clawed fingers made him a formidable foe for the eponymous heroes of the series, and he reappeared for several rematches after his premiere episode. Samhain's mission was simple: he wanted Halloween to last the entire year instead of just one night. Fans especially enjoyed watching the heroes foil Samhain's oddball plan time and time again.
I just noticed something about him in the game’s 2 boss fight! When he knocks you off and reaches the top of the tower, he takes a deep fiery breath and spits something out. I know this ain’t the vomit attack because ray says something along the lines of “sling it back at it”. Maybe this was a cut feature from the game or something, but I’d assume this is ray telling peter and the gang to throw the attack back at him. From the looks of it, seeing that nothing comes back at stay puft, reveals that they too were unsuccessful and probably died. I’m not lying! Replay the non remastered version, get killed by stay puft early during they fight, wait for him to get to the top, and watch him attack (and presumably kill) the ghostbusters! A bit dark of an Easter egg, NGL.
