Trivia[]
- In 1985, Alfonso Ribeiro released a 99-page instructional book entitled "Alfonso's Breakin' & Poppin' Book" via Telmak Teleproductions. It taught children and teenagers how to perform various popular dance moves of the time, such as the Moonwalk, King Tut, and the Centipede. Alfonso starred in a two-minute long television commercial that promoted the book as part of a $19.99 bundle that also included a "Full Rap Sheet", instructional poster, 65"x70" breakin' board (that appeared to feature Alfonso's face in one corner), and a "Rap Attack" double album on records or cassettes.
- The voice cast recorded in the evenings to accommodate Alfonso Ribeiro and Jason Marsden because they were also working on sitcoms during the day at the time.[1]
