Bart Sears is a veteran artist who has worked for both major and independent publishers including Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Image Comics, Dark Horse Comics, and Valiant Comics. He also designed action figure toy lines for Hasbro and ToyBiz such as C.O.P.S. and G.I. Joe. Sears ran Ominous Press, his own comic book company briefly in 1994 and was an art director for CrossGen in 2000. In recent time, Sears worked in the video game industry. From 2008 to 2010, he created concept art and stories and developed in-game assets for Heatwave Interactive. He then launched Ominous Studios, Inc, where he created and directed the production of concept art and assets for game developers and studios.
