Until the major edits are done, all articles about crew are to be avoided being edited. This means: actors, writers, artists, special effects crew, and other crew. While no date is given, here is the overall order I will be going in:

    • Ghostbusters
    • Ghostbusters II
    • Ghostbusters (2016 Movie)
    • The Real Ghostbusters
      • Slimer!
    • Extreme Ghostbusters
    • Print (books)
      • Comics (NOW Comics)
    • Ghostbusters: The Video Game

New plan. The project overall is going to take a lot longer than first thought, so I've decided to left the restriction, and only the sections in bold are right now restricted from editing. No timeline is given, but the order is still going to be as seen.  Devilmanozzy (Talk Page)  11:04, October 2, 2019 (UTC)

Ooooo.....kay. We had to do some rather major changes the last week to the wiki. I want to quickly note them in this blog so it is known to the public (Yes, I'm going to share this blog on social media). Ten days ago or so, I was informed that no one was able to see the No Name Template. That was a issue because a ghost in question, they thought was named a official name, when it was not. The reason for the problem, as it turns out, was the the mobile skin Fandom has, turns off the Notice templates because they assume that those are only for editors and as of writing this blog, no one can edit in the mobile skin mode.

So, the wiki was facing a dilemma; "What can be done about this?". Ultimately, the choice became clear that since infoboxes …

Here we are, with new found information on The Real Ghostbusters. The call sheets, which are on Spook Central. After the sheets appeared on Spook Central on October 31st, the three admins here starting the task of putting the information from them onto the Ghostbusters Wiki. Paul has been the Manager of this project as well as providing photos for the voice actors articles as needed. Mrmichaelt was the organizer of the information and did the main work on Ghostbusters Wiki itself, editing insane amounts of articles. My job in the project was to take the raw images from the PDFs on Spook Central, clean them up, make them as user friendly as I can, remove personal information on the sheets, and send them back to Paul so he could replace the …

On March 10th 2008, TrumpetManLA (Luke Arredondo) and his brother Adam Arredondo started to build Ghostbusters Wiki. So here we are in 2018 with a article count of 5,593 articles. A lot has happened over the years, and lots of edits! So for the tenth anniversary the wiki has interviewed TrumpetManLA the first active administrator. The interview with him can be read here.

The wiki has also updated the History article about the wiki, and now it includes screen caps of the front pages for each year. Also, we now have a upload of the Ghost Corps' Official Franchise Certificate that was sent to us. We're really proud of it.

The wiki had set out in the beginning because there wasn't really a place that was a encyclopedia covering all things Ghostb…

Where to begin... I am 95% sure that I will be moving from my present house to a different one over the next few months. This means that for "days" at a time, I'll be offline. I expect this to be the case from now til early November. I am also responsible for the IDW comics previews for Spook Central (Fan Site), so I will really be stretched thin. During this time Mrmichaelt will be the better choice to contact on the wiki for help/questions about the wiki. Social media portals on Twitter and Facebook will see even less updates.

This blog was written so that this all is understood, and that I will be returning to regular capacity sometime in November.

There has always been and will always be a war at the wiki and a endless debate if we should cover this or that. We decided years ago that dedication is a important element in deciding these things. That being said, I think it's important to not leave people hanging on these things.

A long time back it was asked why we removed two submissions on the wiki for fan franchises. The simple fact was there was no system in place, nothing to build from and no one to maintain those. Let's be honest here, three admins run this wiki pretty much, and two of us are daily editors. That is it. None of us do the prop thing, or dress up for the weekend. We are fans of the films, cartoons, comics, and video games. That is what we care about and are dedicated…

For reference, here is a sales chart of Ghostbusters comics from IDW publishing. Will be updated when new data is released.

On August 14, 2017, sales for July releases were posted. Ghostbusters 101 #5 sold 5713 units, up 295 units from 101 #4's 5418 units sold. Comichron 7/2017 sales 8/14/17

On September 11, 2017, sales for August releases were posted. Ghostbusters 101 #6 missed the cut off and was not on that list. 300th and last place was 5621 units so at least, implicitly it did less than #5.
