    The World didn't End

    January 1, 2013 by Devilmanozzy

Oh, the yearly recap ... Fun Fun! This is the third year I've done one of these noting the following:

    • Blog: New Year, Moving Forward We Must (Yoda) 2011
    • Blog: My Year End Round up (Louis Tully Style!) 2010

So what all happened this year...

    • Well the Real Ghostbusters section has been redone along with the Slimer!. This was a big undertaking mostly lead and done by Mrmichaelt. Currently about 3/4s of the Extreme Ghostbusters episodes have been expanded on as well.
    • Collages have been done to 111 episodes of the 140 RGB episodes. All 33 Slimer! episodes also have been done.
    • The IDW section has been maintained to a T by Mrmichaelt.
    • Both Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II have screen caps for all chapters (finished sometime early in the year).
    • Ghostbusters …

I got an iPad for Christmas, and with it I got the iOS game Ghostbusters: Paranormal Blast. I enjoyed it very much and would like to start an article on it since there isn't one, but I must be sure my fellow administrators are okay with it first.

I don't think I could be anymore excited today if I wanted too. The first part of this Blog will detail the release of ebook Making Ghostbusters, and the second part will really recap the "New Ghostbusters" Tease images by IDW.

I almost feel like I'm singing to the choir here, but today the book Making Ghostbusters was released on Spook Central. It started back in September when Mrmichaelt cut the binding on his book and started scanning the pages. He had got in touch with Paul Rudoff of Spook Central, which was looking forward to the book being added to the Ghostbusters PDF eBook Preservation Project. The book scans were handed off to me (Devilmanozzy) to clean. The project towards the end of October was looking to be released as a treat on…

It has been a very busy month for me, both working on Ghostbuster projects and other art things. I still have a project that is holding me over some, but to those that know about it, the count left is 15 til done. I am just taking my time since it is unknown when the project will be released.

Starting tonight I will be doing collages for Real Ghostbusters episodes. I wont promise a thing, but I'll give them a shot.

I want to thank Mrmichaelt‎ for holding down the fort the last month. I wish I had been more in the game last month, but all these outside projects and life got in the way. I was stretched beyond my means.

Spirit Guide Wiki which I had start over a year ago, but never got off the ground. I confess, I need help with the wiki. I need h…

This Blog will be regularly updated for the time being.

This blog is to map out a timeline for merchandises street releases in the 80's and 90's. This blog is a sister to blog "First Air Dates are Wrong" which was about air dates for The Real Ghostbusters and Slimer.

Unlike the air date blog, there never was a strong reference point to work from. Currently, thanks to efforts by google and other archive projects we can now start to piece together and timeline. That being said, one must realize that there will never be a perfect listing. Even the newspaper articles that claim the toys "NEW" may infact mean within the last few weeks.

I am going to go ahead and include the Kenner toys, guessing the year of release. Due to the nature of this proje…

    Vigo The Wrestling Viking

    September 22, 2012 by Spookcentral

I didn't know what to write for my first blog post, so I thought I'd post a sneak preview of the "Ghostbusters 'n' Wrestling Connection" article I'm writing for Spook Central. The article will be posted when the next update to Wrestlecrap.com is made, which should be on Friday September 28th. That's assuming the article I wrote for Wrestlecrap is posted in that update, as I wrote this one to tie into that one. I have a link to Spook Central in the Wrestlecrap article I wrote, and assuming that it's left in, I figure people from that site might come to mine, and it would be nice if I "greeted" them with something wrestling-related.

Here's an excerpt from the article (minus the spiffy formatting)...

In the 1950s, Norbert Grupe (aka Wilhelm …

For those that havn't noticed or didn't both with the link to the blog on the lower right corner... here is the link.

If you want to see the new layout will look with present wiki skin... Click here.

This to me is a fair change. Every 2 years there is always a skin change. Like clockwork. However, this means that some pretty clear changes in design will happen, and we might as well do a new design.

I motion that the new skin should return to a more simple color palette of straight red, black and white. Logo needs to be more simple I feel like the original. Last thing, I'd to actually feature a screen cap on the right and left based on the movies. Thoughts? Share them. I don't got much time to come up with something here.

    OMG! READ THIS!

    September 19, 2012 by JanusWriter

Okay, so I've been reading the Ghostbusters comic books for a while and I already know that the creators used a new character who looks exactly like Kylie Griffin and has the same name, a reference to the Extreme Ghostbusters show (very excited about that!). And then I thought that was it, I thought that was the only Extreme Ghostbusters reference in the comic series. Until I read the new 8th comic...Janine's new date looks exactly like Egon from the Extreme Ghostbusters series! EEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPP!!!!!! (in a good way).

    Spotlight is On!

Yeah, not that this will bring in the masses in droves, but it helps a bit. Anyways, keeping a extra close eye on the wiki's edits the next week or so.
