The Brain Drain Machine[1] is an invention of Professor Dweeb designed to electronically read a ghost's thoughts.
History[]
As a way to finally achieve scientific fame and put the Ghostbusters out of business, Professor Dweeb invented the Brain Drain Machine. He captured Slimer and scanned his memories in order to discover the weaknesses of ghosts and formulate a method of capturing them.[2] After three scans, the machine caught on fire but Dweeb extinguished it and tried one more scan at full power. By then Slimer figured out how to manipulate his memories on the machine and strained it. The Brain Drain Machine exploded and destroyed the Dweeb Residence.
