Amid an encounter with displaced parallel versions of themselves, the Ghostbusters got a call about a poltergeist haunting the Bronx Zoo. Janine Melnitz alerted the teams as they conversed in the basement. [2] Peter Venkman and Winston Zeddemore and the parallel Ray Stantz and Egon Spengler responded. Peter and parallel Ray looked around the Heins & LaFarge Zoo Center while Winston and parallel Egon looked elsewhere. Parallel Ray heard a strange sound he described as a "tinkling" and they soon encountered the Fairy Poltergeist with a band of entranced animals following her. Parallel Ray soon became entranced as well. Peter summoned Winston over the Radio then opened fire on the poltergeist but the entranced Ray kept marching and was in danger of walking right into Peter's Proton Stream. Winston tackled parallel Ray out of the way. Parallel Egon trapped the poltergeist. Parallel Egon noted there was something familiar about the entity and wanted to study it further at the Firehouse.

  • In Ghostbusters: Get Real Issue #2, panel 3, right of Peter, is a panel referencing the Wildlife Conservation Society, the group who manages the Bronx Zoo.
    • In Get Real Issue #2, panel 5, the Heins & LaFarge Zoo Center lettering at the front of the Zoo Center is cut off on the right side.
