"What the hell are you doin'?!"

- Chambermaid; Ghostbusters

The Chambermaid [1] is one of the extras in the first film. She was cleaning in a hall at Sedgewick Hotel.

The Chambermaid was on the 12th floor of the Sedgewick when she was blasted at by Ray Stantz and Egon Spengler, fortunately evading being vaporised by diving behind her trolley which took most of the blast. She in reaction was quite upset. As she salvaged what was left of her supplies, the Ghostbusters split up and resumed their investigation.

Ghostbusters: The Video GameEdit

As Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, and the Rookie ascend to the 12th floor in search of the recently escaped Slimer, Ray mentions the maid put a restraining order on the team. As part of a settlement with the city, the Proton Packs remain off in heavily populated public areas and in close quarters. Luckily, this also satisfies the restraining order. [2]

  • From early drafts to the final shooting script, the character was originally going to be a bellboy but during casting, it was changed to a chambermaid. [3]
