Cultist Summoner is a ghostly reincarnation of one of the lesser leaders of sects within the Cult of Gozer. He is in Realistic versions of the video game. For strategy on defeating him, go to Central Park Cemetery Level (realistic version).

    • Weaknesses: Meson Collider [1]
    • Dazed Duration: Moderate

    • Special: Summoning Ability


Once lesser leaders of Shandor's cult, these "elevated" cultists are now part of his paranormal horde of minions. Though they seem to possess elevated positions of power over the lesser cultists, these elevated cultist summoners are all still utterly subservient to Shandor's will.

Contact Protocol:

Unlike the regular Cultist variation, the Cultist Summoners are far more dangerous creatures. Capable of attacking from a distance, at close range, and even spawning more creatures, the Cultist Summoners are like a ghost and Black Slime Portal combined into one. Always try to make these your priority (after Black Slime Portals) and take them down like you would a normal Cultist.

These spooks are easily discernible from the lesser Cultists due to their girth; apart from their size they also "summon" streams of Flying Skulls which can cause a lot of harm. The skulls scan as Class I Osteo-Focused Swarmers and are best repelled with a steady stream from a Proton Pack.

Blast them with Shock Blast to weaken them, then when you get the point where you can slam them, then throw out a trap. Use the Stasis Stream to freeze them and Slime Tether them into the Ghost Trap.
