Slimer Action Figure is an action figure released in series 9 of Diamond Select's 7 inch action figure line. Based off of The Real Ghostbusters's Slimer. It is expected to be released in December 26, 2018.[1]
Series 9 also included Winston Zeddemore and Egon Spengler. All three figures come in a Select version only that includes diorama parts to build the Fire House scene.

One of the resident ghosts at the venerable Sedgewick Hotel in New York City, this focused, non-terminal repeating phantasm (or class 5 full roaming vapor) haunted the 12th floor for years, and was known to most of the hotel staff. However, when his activities became more brazen (possibly due to the attempted incursion by Gozer the Gozerian), the hotel manager was forced to call the Ghostbusters. After Ray spotted him eating from a room service cart, the "little spud" slimed Peter before holing up in the hotel's ballroom. He was eventually trapped, becoming the Ghostbusters' first capture, but he was later released from the containment grid and became the Ghostbusters unofficial mascot.
This 7-inch-scale action figure is based on the animated series The Real Ghostbusters, and features multiple points of articulation as well as accessories and diorama parts. It was designed by Yuri Tming and sculpted by Gentle Giant Studios.
Trivia[]
- Both ghosts, Slimer and Stay Puft Marshmallow Man were in Series 9 and 10, as the two ghosts were also included in the first wave of Kenner's The Real Ghostbusters in late 1986. This was reinforced as a homage as all four The Real Ghostbusters hero figure's proton stream colors are based on Kenner's color choices for the Hero line.
- Note that the main body sculpt is a reuse of the "Ghostbusters" Slimer (from Series 3) mold by Diamond Select.
