The Ecto Shield[1] was a device used by Mr. Tummel to protect himself from contact with ghosts.
History
During his bid to transmit all his wealth to the Netherworld, Mr. Tummel devised a few precautionary measures against ghosts. One of them was the Ecto Shield. Activated from the side of his wheel chair, Tummel would be enveloped in an Ecto Shield that no ghost could pass through.
