Edward Quinn [1] was a prolific buffalo hunter in the late 1800s.

History[]

Edward Quinn was notable only for a short-but-prolific career hunting buffalo in the post-Civil War era of the United States of America. He died in the late 1880s. Over 200 years later, his ghost manifested in Wyoming. He wandered Highway 287, south of Laramie, in a confused state and committed no hostile acts. Motorists reported seeing a "red-eyed man, dressed as a cowboy." About a week after Quinn manifested, his presence summoned the spirits of a large herd of Ghost Buffalo. They remained in a highly aggressive state in their pursuit of Quinn and destroyed anything in their path. The Denver FBI Field Office requested an investigation by Special Agent Melanie Ortiz after they began to regularly stampede, causing many traffic accidents and injuries. Kylie Griffin helped identify Quinn for Melanie. On October 30, Melanie, Ron Alexander, Lou Kamaka, and Dani Shpak attempted to track down Quinn but failed. They also failed to take down the herd. The team worked with the New York branch of the Ghostbusters to figure out Quinn's manifestation patterns and trapped him. It was believed the Ghost Buffalo would dissipate on their own once the inciting entity was neutralized. They were wrong. The team requisitioned a helicopter and baited the buffalo. They dangled a Megatrap and the Trap holding Quinn from the copter. Quinn was released and as predicted, the herd charged. The Megatrap recaptured Quinn and trapped the entire herd.
