The Trendmasters Extreme Ghostbusters Toy Line produced a small series of role-playing toys. They are different from the weapon toy line produced by Kenner.
Proton Power Pack and Plasma Blaster
The proton pack was inflatable and the proton gun had a firing sound and an access panel that could be opened. Oddly, the sound button was on the pack itself rather than the proton gun.
Ghost Trap with Positron Blaster
The toy ghost trap looked more like the trap used in the original promo and came with two ghost heads. Both could be attached to the end of the proton gun to make it look like the gun had ensnared a ghost in a proton stream, or it would be placed in the trap, at which point the trap would close and appear to capture the ghost.
