Dr. Doris Tibbs[2] was one of Peter Venkman's dates but was kidnapped by Sir Bruce.
History[]
Dr. Doris Tibbs once agreed to a date with Peter Venkman. When he arrived at her apartment, she revealed they were going to a special evening showing of the Genevieve Tapestry at the Cloisters. It became clear she bore a striking resemblance to Genevieve. For this, she was kidnapped by Sir Bruce and kept in the Special Exhibits Room to be turned into Genevieve and anchored to the Tapestry.
As the night went on, Doris' transformation accelerated and she began to look and act like Genevieve. When Sir Bruce and his knights left Special Exhibits, Peter and Egon Spengler grabbed Doris and stashed her away in Ecto-1. After Bruce was trapped, Doris reverted to normal but suffered from short term memory loss. She walked off to see the Genevieve Tapestry with the Ghostbusters in hot pursuit.
Trivia[]
- On page nine of Ghostbusters Volume 2 Issue #20, Tibbs makes a non-canon cameo in the last panel on the left.
