Trivia

• On July 14, 1989, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Hardee's Food Systems, Inc. announced that the "Ghostblasters" promotional item was voluntarily recalled because it contained small parts that could be swallowed by children if dislodged from the unit. Hardee's initiated the recall after receiving at least 15 complains of children ingesting the small batteries from the noisemaking toys.
• On page eight of Ghostbusters: Get Real Issue #2, left of Egon Spengler on the shelf is a Hardee's Ghostbusters II lunchbox.
• On page 21 of Get Real Issue #2, on the left side of the brown tack board seen in panel 2, the small purple sticker is the Hardees Ghostbusters II promotional "Goo E Ghost, Purple Ghost" sticker.
• On page 15 of Ghostbusters: Get Real Issue #3, on the left side of the brown tack board is the small purple sticker "Goo E Ghost, Purple Ghost"
• On page 15 of Ghostbusters International #1, in panel 1, under the traffic signal is a two way ad, on the left is the Hardee's Slimer Sundae.
• In a commercial for Regal's Ghost Trap Popcorn Bucket, posted on March 13, 2024, Dana, the Regal employee, is wearing a Hardee's Ghost Blaster.
