The Lord of the Stench[3] (also known as Head Demon) was a lord of demons who wanted to steal the shears of The Three Fates and allow his race to control human destiny.

History[]

Since the demons could use the Shears of Fate to control the lives of all mortals, the Lord of the Stench would turn them over to his master, the Lord of Evil, who would then turn Earth evil.[4] The Fates managed to teleport the shears somewhere else, but this only made the demons look for the shears again.

The Fates enlisted the help of the Ghostbusters to find the shears. The legion of demons appeared at the Garment District in search of the fabled object. The Lord of Stench managed to gain possession of the shears and teleported to the underworld. The Ghostbusters were sent there by the Fates and had only one hour to recover the shears. After the shears were found and returned to their rightful owners, the demons vanished.

Trivia[]

  • According to "The Real Ghostbusters Complete Collection" booklet, Lewis Arquette makes an uncredited cameo as the voice of the Head Demon.[5]
