The Gasper's Meter[1] (also known as Gaspers' Meter)[2] is a ghost detecting device like the P.K.E. Meter.
History[]
Primary Canon History[]
In late 1984, around the time Winston Zeddemore was hired, a Gasper's Meter was among the devices laid on a table in the basement. On the day Walter Peck came to shut down the Containment Unit, the Gasper's Meter was now standing upright on the same table.
Primary Canon (Expanded Universe) History[]
During the investigation at Fort Detmerring, Ray Stantz used a Gasper's Meter as he walked through the halls into the Officer's Quarters. He placed it on a night stand next to bed while he dressed up in an officer's uniform and fell asleep. The device's red light came on when it detected the manifestation of the Fort Detmerring Ghost in a closet.
