About a week after the ghost of Edward Quinn manifested and wandered Highway 287, his presence summoned the spirits of a large herd of buffalo. They remained in a highly aggressive state in their pursuit of Quinn and destroyed anything in their path. The Denver FBI Field Office requested an investigation by Special Agent Melanie Ortiz after they began to regularly stampede, causing many traffic accidents. A semi-truck was overturned and several regular vehicles were a total loss from being rammed off the road or trampled. Motorists suffered concussions and broken bones. On October 30, Melanie, Ron Alexander, Lou Kamaka, and Dani Shpak were unable to track down Quinn and attempted to trap the herd. However, the herd would rush to defend their own whenever one of them was wrangled. The team worked with the New York branch of the Ghostbusters to figure out Quinn's manifestation patterns and trapped him. It was believed the Ghost Buffalo would dissipate on their own once the inciting entity was neutralized. They were wrong. The team requisitioned a helicopter and baited the buffalo. They dangled a Megatrap and the Trap holding Quinn from the copter. Quinn was released and the herd charged. The Megatrap recaptured Quinn and trapped the entire herd.
The Ghost Buffalo look like standard buffalo expect they are red.
The Ghost Buffalo are exceptionally strong and were able to destroy vehicles with brute strength.
The Ghost Buffalo are Class 6 entities. A P.K.E. reading taken was 001113.14 on the high spectrum.
