- The Bad-To-The-Bone Ghost makes a non-canon cameo on Ghostbusters Issue #9 Cover RI-B, P.P.F. Comics
- The Bad-To-The-Bone Ghost figure appeared in the 1990 film The Witches.[1]
- On cover B of Ghostbusters Annual 2018, between Egon Spengler and Janine Melnitz is Kenner's Bad-To-The-Bone Ghost.
- On page 36 of Annual 2018, in panel 1, on the right is a ghost based on the Bad-To-The-Bone Ghost.
- During pre-production of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, a Bonesy puppet ghost concept that was approximately 18 inches tall was built and tested in a water tank called "Polter." Arjen Tuiten based the concept on the Kenner toy he loved in his childhood, the Bad-To-The-Bone Ghost, as well as the "Poltergeist" movie.[2]
