Plot[]

Patty Tolan attempted to advertise Metro Cards from her booth but everyone ignored her. (Patty tries to compliment a woman on her jacket but she's startled by Rowan) Patty asked Rowan if he needed a map or a Metro Card. (Rowan tells her about the Fourth Cataclysm) Patty joked she was going to get some shopping done. Rowan thought it would be a hell of a deal. Patty called him a bundle of sunshine and repeated it would be a hell of sale. Patty laughed, remarked even psychos were funny, and thought people were getting crazier and crazier. (Patty notices Rowan going down to the tracks) Patty became annoyed. She muttered she didn't have time for it and wondered why she always dealt with the crazy people. Patty left her booth and turned a corner. She caught the graffiti artist vandalizing a wall again. "No Graffitti" in black was on the wall. Patty yelled no graffiti was allowed and she had to tell him that everyday. The artist presented his graffiti like he was helping her get the rule across. She told him it wasn't helping and was an embarrassment. He claimed he was improving the wall. Patty told him he wasn't Banksy then asked he saw a "weird little dude." He claimed he was too busy to notice. Patty remarked he was busy vandalizing. He promised to come back with soap. She yelled at him to stop. He claimed he stopped then stated he didn't stop. He continued spraying in a straight line as he walked away but made a curve to avoid a seated man then continued as he approached the corner. He told her he loved her. Patty retorted they would just wash it off after he left. She muttered to herself she didn't understand her life then realized he didn't even spell "graffiti" right. She looked at the couple and asked them if they were talking about cats and crossword puzzles.

Trivia[]

  • Patty refers to Banksy, a famous street artist based in England.
