In Ghostbusters II the Deleted Scene: El Gato/The Cat is a scene in the Thurgood Marshall U.S. Courthouse where Dana wishes Peter good luck with the trial. Two takes are included on the 2014 Blu-ray.

While Louis Tully was explaining how he got his law degree, Peter Venkman talked to Dana Barrett at the wooden rail of the spectator's gallery of the courtroom. Dana expressed regret at not being able to stay for the trial since it was her fault. Peter agreed it was her fault and asked Dana to visit him at Sing Sing if they were allowed conjugal rights. Peter was confident things would go well because he was like a cat, he always landed on his feet. Dana gave Peter a good luck kiss and left the courtroom. Peter savored the kiss then went to sit at the defense table.
