During the late 1980's through the 90's Mexican bootlegs have been made based on Kenner's The Real Ghostbusters toy line. This line was one of them.

Note that currently two copies of the same figure have surfaced suggesting line, but no info on the rest of the toys made is known at this time.
Overall series packaging has yellow front with a no-ghost logo and title Cazafantasmas on the top center. Fright figure photos are place in the four corners with Janine being in the top-left, Ray top-right, Egon bottom-left, and Winston bottom-right. Peter is not shown. The back is blank tan cardboard. Toys are in clear bag stapled to card. Photos shown on front suggest weapons, but none actually come with them.
- Fright Feature Figure: Winston Zeddmore - Main figure is made of a grey plastic like the original, however run-off plastic seams can be found along front/back of legs and arm as well as inside hands. Pads (shoulders and knees), belt and boots, all are painted yellow and gloves are painted blue (gloves are painted purple on original version). Head is painted brown skin tone with hair and features painted black. Top of head is part of the torso and lacks the fright feature.
- Soar Throat Ghost - Which originally came with Fright Features Egon, is made of a cyan color plastic with plastic run-off. The original toy was a transparent pink.
