Ghostbusters 2020 Classic Merchandise Wave is the release of retro merchandise based on the two films from the 1980's and The Real Ghostbusters cartoon series. This wave does not cover the Ghostbusters: Afterlife film wave, which is based on elements from that film. This wave started in 2020. However, many items in this wave are leftovers from the Ghostbusters 35th Anniversary Merchandise Wave. The Classics line seems to not be changing all that much going into the Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire launch.

- Some have the sewn look No-Ghost Logo.
- However, some use the rivet No-Ghost logo that is on many Ghostbusters: Afterlife merchandise as well.
- Many Classic items have the sewn tan uniform with zipper design.
