Ghostbusters Non-Merchandise Wave Period is a period of time of 1994 to 2003 that saw very limited product releases. The period is mostly noted for the "black" re-designed boxart VHS for Ghostbusters which was released in 1994. 1999 saw the first remaster of both films and a few years later DVD releases of the same transfer. The mid 90's saw a very slow period for officially released merchandise, which was mostly Ecto-Cooler, Universal Studios theme park, and random re-releases of the films. The only major media released was the Extreme Ghostbusters series.
