View-Master in the late 80's released two stereoscope sets based on the Ghostbusters IP. One was based on The Real Ghostbusters episode "The Boogieman Cometh" and the other based on the film Ghostbusters II.

- In 1989, Tyco acquired View-Master Ideal[1], this led to the reissues in 1989.
- On page 17 of Ghostbusters: Get Real Issue #2, in panel 3, behind Egon Spengler is the View-Master The Real Ghostbusters Gift Set box.
