Equipment
Containment Unit Foul Grungy opens the Containment Unit. It almost explodes, but it does not (thanks to Ray and Winston); ghosts simply escape through the trap deposit mechanism.
Plot
The Ghostbusters and Slimer return home from vacation to find a ghost family has moved in. And getting rid of them won't be easy since they threw away the Ghostbusters' proton packs.
Trivia
- According to their answering machine, the Ghostbusters return to the Firehouse on June 5th.
- The ghosts are a reference to The Simpsons as well as the Bundies from Married with Children.
- Among the ghosts that get out of the Containment Unit are the Mean Green Teen Machine from the episode of the same name. The alien class 7 from Spacebusters and Count Von Blukenporken's bat minions from My Left Fang can also be seen among the escaped ghosts.
- Scenes of ghosts chasing a kid, from "Slimer, Is That You?", are shown after the ghosts are let out of the Containment Unit.
- All the ghosts that got out of the containment unit in this episode are from season 6. That being said, Gorgar is seen as one of the ghosts released, when he went back to his own world in You Can't Teach an Old Demon New Tricks.
- At least one ghost escaping the Containment Unit isn't from season 6. Arborak, one of the ghostly bounty hunters from the season 4 episode Short Stuff, can be seen briefly when Foul Grungy attacks the escaped ghosts with a proton pack. Oddly, Arborak is now colored green.
