Gumbo[2] was a fictional action star that manifested as a ghost when several ghosts formed a pirate TV station.

Gumbo, "America's clay hero," manifested in the WBOO tower while the Ghostbusters explored it. Ray encountered Gumbo. Gumbo soon opened fire on Ray, prompting the Ghostbuster to retreat.

Gumbo takes after the character Rambo, and is rough and tough.

Gumbo uses a machine gun. It is unknown if he has any actual powers.

  • Gumbo appears to be a spoof of Rambo and Gumby.
  • Gumbo asks Ray if he saw an orange horse. This is a reference to Pokey, the sidekick of Gumby.[3]
