The Hallway Bystander was a guest at the Sedgewick Hotel.
History[]
Ghostbusters[]
In late 1984, the bystander was walking in a hallway to his room. Egon Spengler oddly pokes him, while doing a sweep of the area with a P.K.E. Meter, to see if he was a ghost. The bystander moved slightly and stared at Egon. Egon nonchalantly moved on.
Secondary Canon History[]
IDW Comics[]
While working on a theory, Egon took valences near Delgado's Gym. Egon and the bystander were briefly "reunited" but no contact was made.
Trivia[]
- In the 8/5/83 draft, Egon originally encountered a woman who just got out of the shower. Mary Woronov was cast to portray the woman but the scene was never shot for pacing reasons.[1][2]
- On page 12 of Ghostbusters Issue #8, the bystander stands next to Egon.

We had Mary Woronov, from Eating Raoul, cast as the woman. She's a very good actress -- very striking -- but it just came down to time."
