Hell's Kitchen[1] is an area in Manhattan between 34th and 59th Street with a gritty reputation, hence the name.
History[]

Secondary Canon History[]
IDW Comics[]
As Halloween drew near one year, Stingy Jack went to Central Park and initiated his scheme to cheat The Devil once and for all. The Ghostbusters were soon to deal with the manifestation of a Ghost Fire Wall at the park. They were sidetracked by another case in Hell's Kitchen.[2] Hours later, the Ghostbusters dealt with the fire wall. Peter Venkman tried to explain to Chief Graver that their tardiness was because it was a "really big thing."[3]
Tertiary Canon History[]
Extreme Ghostbusters[]
In November 1997, the Extreme Ghostbusters were dispatched to Hell's Kitchen by Janine Melnitz. They encountered an Ecto-Clone eating metal from a dumpster in an alleyway. Disregarding instructions on a quick modification to the Particle Thrower, the team still managed to trap the entity. However, its ions were displaced and two Ecto-Clones manifested. The original team arrived and trapped them by using a parking meter as bait.
