Herman Melville [1] is an American writer famous for works like "Moby Dick".
History[]
A few days into a dimensional bleed incident, strange noises were reported in the Bronx. The Ghostbusters were hired to investigate. Winston Zeddemore, Peter Venkman, Patty Tolan, and Jillian Holtzmann took Ecto-1 to Woodlawn Cemetery. Peter, Patty, and Winston were tossed back by a sudden blue flash. The ghost of Herman Melville ran past them and warned of a great devil coming for them. A series of clicking sounds could be heard. The Moby Dick Ghost appeared above them soon after and covered them in a white Ectoplasm.
Trivia[]
- On page 8 of Ghostbusters 101 #5, Melville's line "From Hell's heart, he has come for three" might be a nod to Captain Ahab's line from Moby Dick Chapter 135 "The Chase - Third Day" - "Towards thee I roll, thou all-destroying but unconquering whale; to the last I grapple with thee; from hell's heart I stab at thee; for hate's sake I spit my last breath at thee."
