IDW Publishing Comics- Ghostbusters: Total Containment is an oversized, deluxe hardcover edition that collects the first 16 issues of the ongoing Ghostbusters series, and includes all PCOC pages, backup stories, and an art gallery. On January 24, 2014, Tom Waltz revealed Ernie Hudson participated in the hardcover collection. [5]

On March 2, 2014, it was reported Amazon's preview pages revealed Ernie Hudson wrote the introduction for the hardcover. [6]

On March 4, 2014, Dan Schoening revealed he and Luis Antonio Delgado did new art that will be included in the hardcover. [7]

On March 25, 2014, Dan Schoening hinted the interior of the (IDW canon) Containment Unit would be revealed. [8] A preview was posted, including what Schoening hinted at and Ernie Hudson's introduction. [9]
