The Jail Jaw Ghost is a pink, slimy ghost with an insatiable appetite.
History
Three months after Janine Melnitz formed her team, she accepted a call from one of the Ghostbusters' repeat customers, Mr. Parker who had great insurance. The Jail Jaw Ghost trespassed in an apartment unit and was consuming the contents of a refrigerator. Special Agent Melanie Ortiz opened fire on the ghost with the Compact Pack but missed. The ghost was startled and it slimed Ortiz. Ortiz was not pleased and took Kylie Griffin's Particle Thrower. On her second attempt, Ortiz wrangled the ghost. Janine threw out a Trap and captured it. After the triumphant trio left the apartment, they were arrested by a group of police officers accompanied by Walter Peck.

- The Jail Jaw Ghost is based on the toy of the same name that accompanies Ray Stantz in Kenner's Fright Features line.
- In the Ghostbusters: Mass Hysteria hard cover collection, on page four, the Jail Jaw Ghost appears in the middle right side of the background.
