Joe Magic[2] is the owner and manager of the Magic Theater.[3] He also assumes the role of announcer and starts up performances.

History

Joe Magic was very concerned when Calamari's rehearsals were interrupted by a ghost. He gave the Ghostbusters four free front row tickets to Calamari's show. When the ghost appeared, Magic was irate. He declared if the Ghostbusters could catch the ghost, Calamari wouldn't be fired. Once the Ghostbusters assured Magic they could, he marched off to his office.

Trivia

  • In the September 12, 1986 script, Joe Magic was originally named Ted Magic.[4]
  • On page 16 of Ghostbusters Issue #13, Joe makes a non-canon cameo as one of the patrons.
