Krampus[1] is beast-like demon who punishes bad children and takes the worst away in his sack as part of his partnership with Sinterklaas.

HistoryEdit

Primary CanonEdit

Like Santa Claus, Sinterklaas leaves presents behind for good children. However, if there were bad children to be punished, Krampus would act on Sinterklaas' behalf. Sometimes, as the stories go, he would even abduct bad children. In reality, Krampus is a Bogeyman believed to be descended from Rodefhiri due to the belief of children in Bogeymen.

Ghosts From Our PastEdit

According to pre-Christian pagan myth, Krampus punished naughty children during Christime by swatting them with bundles of birch. The more naughtier children were kidnapped and taken to the underworld to be cooked and eaten.[2]
