The Laugh Riot Ghosts are an audience of ghosts at the abandoned Laugh Riot Comedy Club.
History[]
In June 2022, Phoebe Spengler came up from the sewers and found herself on the stage the the Laugh Riot Comedy Club. The ghosts in the audience demanded entertainment and jokes. She asked for the house lights, surveyed the audience, and told Callie Spengler over her cell phone to hurry and pick her up before she died. Phoebe asked, "Why don't Zombies read news articles?" She answered, "They never get past the headlines." A ghost wearing a top hat groaned and called her joke terrible. A female ghost laughed a little and told the others she got it. Phoebe asked, "Why do ghouls only eat organic food?" She answered "Because it's super-natural!" The top hat ghost booed her and wanted someone to get her then asked anyone to put him out of his misery. Another ghost pointed out he was already dead. The female ghost found that made it worse.
Phoebe assured the ghosts she was just warming up. She asked, "What's a baker's favorite part of Manhattan?" The female ghost groaned and warned her not to say the punchline. Phoebe answered, "The Lower Yeast Side!". Three ghosts angrily climbed the stage. Phoebe implored them to wait and asked if they heard "Which knight invented the Round Table?" She answered, "Sir Cumference!" The ghosts continued their approach. Phoebe told them the one about the neutron that walked into a bar and asked the bartender how much for a drink. She continued that the bartender told the neutron it was no charge. Trevor Spengler asked the ghosts, "What has a Proton Pack and is ready to send you back to Hell?" The ghosts were confused. Gary Grooberson told Trevor not to say it. Trevor proclaimed, "This guy!" Gary was appalled that Trevor made fun of his jokes after hearing that. Several Traps were used to catch all of the ghosts.
