Luigi[2] is an Italian chef who works for Rafael and is friends with Slimer. Rafael is often very impatient with him.

Luigi once hired Slimer as a dish washer for the Ritz Cafe. However, Slimer only lasted a few minutes. Once Rafael saw Slimer in action, he was terminated and Luigi's hiring power was taken away.

  • The Slimer! Series Bible revealed Luigi's last name to be Linguini and his dream was to be recognized as a four star chef.[3][4]
  • Luigi is married, has several children, including two daughters, two sons, and twins, a dog, and a cat.[5]
  • Luigi is skilled at playing the drums, even if they are just improvised pots and pans.[6]
  • On page 15 of Ghostbusters Volume 2 Issue #13, there is Luigi's Fresh Pizza Dough in Dana Barrett's refrigerator
  • On page 12 of Ghostbusters Volume 2 Issue #18, Luigi makes a non-canon cameo on a portrait between Kas Gibbons and Tiyah Zeddemore.
