The Maître D' was in the headwaiter of Armand's Restaurant.
History
On New Year's Eve 1989, the Maître D' called the police after Egon Spengler, Ray Stantz, and Winston Zeddemore stormed into the dining area in their long underwear covered in ectoplasmic residue and ignored his warnings. Once Restaurant Cop No.1 and Restaurant Cop No.2 arrived, he quickly directed them to the Ghostbusters and had them removed.
Trivia
- He might be a reference to "Mr. Fabulous", the Maître D' appearing in the Dan Aykroyd film The Blues Brothers, with the diiference consisting in the fact that, when the protagonists of both films start to comedically do impolite things in the restaurant, Fabulous does not put in action his menace of calling the police.
