Matt Slay is an artist for IDW Comics

About

Matt Slay got his start with the Boy Scouts. He designed posters, T-shirts, and patches. Some of his work resides in the National Scouting Museum in Irving, Texas. He began working in advertisement. Z.L. Feng was one of his teachers in college and was the first to push him from strictly commercial work and encouraged him back into comics. [1]

Process

Matt Slay usually starts his work with pencil but is primarily a watercolor painter.
