Officer Burton and Cullen (also known as Frank Burton and Tim Cullen)[1][2] are two officers with the New York Police Department.
History
Officer Burton and Cullen saw what they thought was Ecto-1 parked illegally near a border of Prospect Park. Officer Burton prepared to leave a parking ticket despite Cullen's objection. Burton asserted the Ghostbusters couldn't just park wherever they wanted. Cullen insisted they were just doing their job. Burton countered he was, too. Ectronymous Diamatron fired a turret from his vehicle form's roof and vaporized the ticket. Burton decided to let the violation slide since the Ghostbusters saved the world.
Trivia
- On page 16 of Transformers/Ghostbusters Issue #1, Ectronymous vaporizes the parking ticket, a nod to a deleted scene in the first movie.
- On page 16 of Transformers/Ghostbusters Issue #1, evidenced by the name tags under their badges, Frank's last name is Burton and Tim's last name is Cullen. Burton is a nod to Corey Burton, who voiced Spike Witwicky in the G1 animated series. Peter Cullen is the longtime voice of Optimus Prime.
