Pioneer Square is a neighborhood in the southwest corner of downtown Seattle.
The Ghostbusters tracked the low-frequency vibrations given off by the ghost of Dante Barnes to Pioneer Square. Believed to be drawn to the area since the original buildings were destroyed in the Great Seattle Fire of 1889, Dante manifested near the Tlingit Totem Pole. The Ghostbusters cleared away people then battled Dante. Several city-owned trees were damaged in the bust and charged to the Ghostbusters.
