History
Ghostbusters
The Police Captain was the police officer who accompanied Walter Peck to the Firehouse basement. He regarded Peck as another "bureaucratic pencil neck" and was only following his orders, not Peck's. When Peter Venkman tried to stop the Con Edison Man from shutting down the Containment Unit, the Captain ordered Peter to step aside. Peck invited Peter to shoot him next time he did that. The captain took offense to being told how to do his job. Once the grid was turned off, he fled the building and broke up a fight between Egon Spengler and Peck.
Secondary Canon History
