In the summer of 2024, the Police Chief was present in the New York City Hall's Mayor's Office when Mayor Walter Peck went over the list of violations the Ghostbusters incurred while chasing the Sewer Dragon. He grimaced as Gary Grooberson told Peck he was Phoebe Spengler's step-teacher. Three days later, he went to the police station with Mayor Peck and his senior advisor following an incident at the New York City Public Library.
