- Richard Mueller reworked his script for "The Spirit of Aunt Lois" with Arsenio Hall during a voice recording session after receiving criticism for a lack of humor.[4]
- On page 5 of 35th Anniversary: The Real Ghostbusters, the Glorp Factory's street location is in part named after Richard Mueller.
