The Spectral Glove is a device similar in scope to the P.K.E. Meter and Giga meter. Worn on the right hand and wrist like a glove, the glove specializes in taking readings of spectral sources.[1] Thus, it can detect when such a source is surging or diminishing.
History[]
All four Ghostbusters wore a Spectral Glove each when they explored the area beneath the town of Spittoon, Texas. The gloves were linked with a sensor wand on the rail cart, which expanded the devices' range, and instantly detected the well of spectral energy when Slimer arrived near it.[2]
Trivia[]
- On page nine of Ghostbusters Issue #3, a Spectral Glove makes a non-canon cameo on a shelf rack in the Firehouse.
- On page 17 of Ghostbusters International #7, the Psychokinetic Defibrillator's design is a non-canon reference to the Spectral Glove.
