- IDW's Displaced Aggression Issue #2 sort of addressed it. On page nine, third panel, Ray said "Egon hasn't taught there since we battled Vigo the Carpathian years ago." I know I'm sorta reaching but if the Institute was a quasi independent research firm located on Columbia University campus, perhaps Egon was required to teach at least one course when he was actually working for the Institute for x amount of years between the events of Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II.
