Al Capone's rival gang

This episode from what I can see didn't name anyone, so we have to go by what is historically known. My gut feeling is that the gang is based on the North side Gang (Chicago) and they leader was Dean O'Banion (Picture). Now, I don't have great knowledge of gangsters and the like or even fictional ones in movies, so maybe there is something else. But we're going to have to nail this one without help.  Devilmanozzy (Talk Page)  09:23, June 9, 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, since there's no name I was going for something ironic like "The Other Side Gang" as a reference to the North Side Gang. <ducks brick> But then it would contradict the IDW Comics so I was thinking something like "Ghost World Gang" As for the leader, that's a tough one as well. Given the Ghostbusters were at Mount Carmel Cemetery, maybe it was Earl "Hymie" Weiss or Dean O'Banion, both rivals of Capone and both buried at the Carmel like Capone. Well I doubt IDW (pre-Dapper/Eric/Trist) thought about anything other than the films. The IDW comic "Past, Present, and Future" sold me that they were not concerned at all with the cartoons. The branches are completely different here. Anyways I like your hypothesis, and unless we can id them, we're have to use the "{{Noname}}". To be honest, either way the tag will be used. It seems like they based the gangsters on living people, as they have distinct human attributes, but knowing J. Michael Straczynski I doubt he remembers nor cares. But I'll drop a line on his official facebook anyways. Maybe he'll say something. Doubt it based on earlier tries but its worth a shot.  Devilmanozzy (Talk Page)  14:11, June 11, 2012 (UTC)
