Name Change Proposal

Newly posted concept art by Shae Shatz refers to it as "Remote Wrist Trigger" here. Mrmichaelt (talk) 07:46, January 3, 2017 (UTC)

"Remote Wrist Trigger"... problem is, that Jillian didn't wear it on her wrist, but on her arm. "Remote Arm-Mounted Trigger" might be a better thing, much like most concept sheets and such, they don't usually fully use the names on the final version. Also, I noticed as I re-looked at this equipment item right now that it seems somewhat based on a "Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor".  Devilmanozzy (Talk Page)  09:44, January 3, 2017 (UTC)
That's right. It was above her elbow I think. "Remote Arm-Mounted Trigger" sounds good. Or "Remote Upper Arm Trigger" perhaps? Mrmichaelt (talk) 09:49, January 3, 2017 (UTC)
"Remote Upper Arm Trigger" sounds the best so far. Sadly, the device was never really explained in film. It got used twice, once to trigger the trap and once to release her Proton Pistols. Seemed like it should have had more function than that, but we're never know. So "Remote Upper Arm Trigger" to me is the best we can do with such limited information given. If a real life item can be id'ed to be the base for it, this conversation might reopen. But it looks made up to me.  Devilmanozzy (Talk Page)  06:37, January 4, 2017 (UTC)
Just one more thought popped in, would it grammatically make more sense to use "Upper Arm Remote Trigger" than "Remote Upper Arm Trigger"? Mrmichaelt (talk) 06:52, January 4, 2017 (UTC)
"Upper Arm Remote Trigger" is less messy. I agree.  Devilmanozzy (Talk Page)  06:55, January 4, 2017 (UTC)
Cool. Hurray for random thoughts in the night. :P Mrmichaelt (talk) 06:57, January 4, 2017 (UTC)
