The Frankenstein Monster was a dead body put together by different bodyparts and re-animated with electricity by a scientist named Dr. Victor von Frankenstein. However, it seems this is the ghost form of the monster or a ghost that has chosen to assume the form of the monster.

Association with the Ghostbusters

The Frankenstein monster had two brief appearances in the episode Janine Melnitz, Ghostbuster. He first appears in a library early in the episode. Here in a ghostly state, which differs from the original monster who was a solid manifestation. He is later seen inside the containment unit trying to attack Slimer.
