The Trammps was a 1970's disco/soul band that did the staple disco hit "Disco Inferno". The song can be heard in the Ghostbusters Movie at Louis's party. It was not originally included in the Ghostbusters Soundtrack, until its Remastered Edition was released.
Two "The Trammps" bands[]
At some point, Earl Young formed The Trammps group, which is not the same as The Trammps. To avoid legal issues with the owner of "The Trammps" band name, Earl calls his version "Earl Young and the Trammps". Both versions toured at the same time causing confusion.
