600 years after Master Tomo's death, his shuriken became part of a traveling exhibit about the Four Masters known as "Forgotten Masters" along with Master Takeda's katana. In New York, the exhibit was set to debut at the Natural History Museum. On his day off, a curator went to the museum to set up the exhibit. He repeatedly told himself to be careful but he dropped the shuriken. It shattered on impact. Since it was prized possession, Tomo used it as a doorway between the living and the dead. A red mist appeared and the ghost of Master Tomo manifested.
